A newly launched, technology-driven hedge fund is looking for a Security Engineer to help build its security function from the ground up. This is a genuine greenfield opportunity where you'll have significant ownership over the firm's security architecture, tooling, and processes from day one. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll play a key role in establishing a modern security programme in a highly technical environment.
Key focus areas:
- Build and own detection & response capabilities, including alerting, threat detection, canaries, and honeypots.
- Design and implement security controls across cloud, infrastructure, and application environments.
- Develop authentication, authorisation, identity, and certificate management frameworks.
- Partner with engineering teams to embed security throughout the development lifecycle.
- Shape the firm's long-term security architecture and strategy as the platform scales.
We're looking for:
