Top computerised crypto trading firm is looking to hire a Quantitative Trader with 1-4 years of commercial experience to join its team on a full-time basis in London. The company is a fast-growing market making and programmatic trading company in the world of cryptocurrencies and has developed a leading market position across several exchanges and clients globally. You will help shape and build cutting-edge strategies and tools used for real-time trading and report directly to the Head of Trading. Your work will involve generating insights into cryptocurrency market behaviour and developing state-of-the-art automated trading algorithms.
Your responsibilities will be multifaceted and include:
- Developing algorithms and analytical models used for market making and proprietary trading of cryptocurrencies.
- Partner with the technology team in developing code, testing, and writing technical documentation for models.
- Working with the wider team to develop new trading strategies and monitor existing trading activities to ensure model efficacy.
What we’re looking for:
- A Bachelor or Masters degree in Maths, Computer Science, Physics or similar field.
- 1-4 years experience in a quantitative trader role at a bank or proprietary trading firm – ideally within FX or futures.
- Experience developing algorithmic trading tools.
- Experience with Python, Linux and Java or C++ desirable.
- Excellent logical reasoning and analytical skills.
Compensation is unprecedented and based on experience.
