Quantitative Analyst

Full-Time No home office possible

Salary – Up to £95,000 base + Bonus + Benefits

We’re partnering with a major international financial institution looking to hire a mid-level Quantitative Analyst to join their Treasury/ALM analytics team. This group builds the models, tools, and risk metrics that help manage balance‑sheet sensitivity, interest rate risk, and credit spread risk across the bank.

In this role, you’ll work closely with Treasury Finance, Risk, and Technology to design and implement Python‑based analytics used for decision‑making across the organisation. You’ll contribute to model development, prototype new risk tools, and help bring analytical solutions into production in a robust and controlled environment.

What you’ll be working on

Building and enhancing Python tools for balance‑sheet and risk analytics
Designing quantitative solutions that support ALM, hedge management, and treasury reporting
Collaborating with Technology on data pipelines, environments, and deployment
Implementing models in well‑tested, reliable software
Supporting business users and ensuring models remain accurate and effective
Working within established risk, control, and governance standards

What we’re looking for

Strong Python engineering skills (NumPy, Pandas, scientific computing)
Good understanding of financial maths: fixed‑income, curve construction, derivatives pricing
Ability to explain complex quantitative concepts to non‑technical stakeholders
Bonus points for: experience in Treasury Finance, distributed systems, or model development within a regulated environment
