Job Description
Junior–Mid Level Python Engineer – Hedge Fund (London)
A newly launched long/short equity hedge fund, founded by senior ex–leading hedge fund professionals, is seeking a Junior–Mid Level Python Engineer to join its team in London.
You will work directly with the Chief Risk Officer on the greenfield build of a research platform, contributing to diverse development projects across the fund. This is an opportunity to shape infrastructure from the ground up within a high-calibre investment environment.
Requirements:
- 1–6 years’ engineering experience within top-tier tech firms or the buy-side
- Degree in Computer Science from a leading university
- Strong Python skills; exposure to full stack development (React/JavaScript) is advantageous
- Availability to start within 6 months
- Right-to-work in the UK (without sponsorship requirements)
