The Role
As a Network Performance Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, monitoring, and optimizing the high-performance networks environment. You’ll work closely with engineers, traders, and developers to ensure that the systems meet the demands of ultra-low-latency trading environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Network Optimization: Analyze and improve network performance to achieve the lowest possible latency and highest reliability.
- Monitoring: Develop and implement tools to monitor network health, performance, and usage in real time.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Collaboration: Partner with trading teams, system engineers, and developers to align network solutions with business goals.

What We’re Looking For
- Technical Expertise:

- Proficiency with networking hardware (switches, routers, NICs) from vendors like Arista, Cisco, or Juniper.
- Experience with network performance tools (Wireshark, tcpdump, SolarWinds).
- Python coding skills.
- Low-Latency Focus: Knowledge of high-frequency trading (HFT) environments and the challenges of ultra-low-latency networks.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and diagnostic skills with a focus on performance bottlenecks and optimization.
