A client is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join their fast-growing, multi-strategy investment firm. Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure, you will play a key role in supporting, maintaining, and enhancing a global technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 2nd/3rd line support across hardware, software, and infrastructure platforms
  • Administer and maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, M365/Entra, VMware, Azure, and Linux environments
  • Manage OS and software patching
  • Improve and automate infrastructure build processes and operational workflows
  • Drive standardisation and best practices across the technology estate
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner
  • Support a fast-paced, business-critical environment

Requirements

  • ~5+ years' experience in Infrastructure Engineering, ideally within financial services
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Windows Server & Active Directory
    • Microsoft 365 / Entra ID
    • VMware
    • Azure
    • Enterprise Linux
    • PowerShell and/or Python
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with helpdesk/ticketing systems
  • Excellent communication skills
