A newly launched fundamentally driven long/short equity hedge fund, focused on the European Industrials sector, is seeking a talented Engineer to join its growing London-based team. The firm operates in a high-trust, high-accountability environment with a strong investment focus and entrepreneurial culture.
Reporting to the CRO and collaborating closely with investment and data teams, this role offers the opportunity to design and deliver greenfield systems that visualise complex financial data, support analytical workflows, and integrate seamlessly with backend infrastructure. Youβll play a key role in shaping the fundβs research and tooling platform from inception.
Responsibilities:- Build and maintain full-stack applications and internal tools, with an emphasis on high-performance, data-intensive frontend systems.
- Collaborate directly with investment professionals, quants, and data scientists to develop responsive dashboards and analytical interfaces.
- Integrate frontend components with Python-based backend services and APIs.
- Optimise application performance for large datasets, leveraging efficient data manipulation and visualisation techniques.
