This is an opportunity to join an established team in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment, working closely with the business to build technology that supports the firm's trading activities.
The role also offers hybrid working with 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance systems across Java, Python and MATLAB.
- Integrate applications with proprietary trading systems and strategic SaaS providers.
- Follow best practices across the SDLC, including TDD, CI/CD and monitoring.
- Work closely with the business to understand financial markets and develop solutions to real business problems.
- Stay up to date with the wider technology community through conferences, meet-ups and other events.
Requirements
- 3+ years' professional software development experience.
- Expert-level Java development skills.
- Strong knowledge of concurrency and low-latency systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Maths, Physics or a related field.
