A fast-growing industrial technology company is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to help build and scale a proprietary platform that’s transforming how modern manufacturing operates. This is a hands-on role with real ownership. You’ll be working across the stack on production systems that directly control and optimize physical factories ranging from real-time data pipelines and backend services to user-facing tools used on the shop floor. The work is practical, high-impact, and closely tied to real-world outcomes.
The environment is high-autonomy and fast-moving. You’ll be expected to spot operational problems, turn them into software, and ship improvements quickly. There’s close collaboration with leadership and on-site teams, and a strong bias toward execution over process.
What you’ll be doing:
- Designing and building core full-stack systems for factory automation and real-time operations
- Owning features end to end, from infrastructure and backend services through to UX
- Working directly with operational teams to understand bottlenecks and solve them in software
- Deploying and iterating quickly in demanding, production-critical environments
- Leading projects from idea to rollout, with a focus on reliability and performance
What they’re looking for:
- 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience (flexible for standout candidates)
- Strong fundamentals in full-stack development
- Comfortable working independently and taking responsibility
- Experience building production systems rather than prototypes
- Interest in solving messy, real-world problems with software
Nice to have:
- Strong frontend or UX instincts
- Experience in startups or as an early engineer
- Background in industrial, aerospace, defense, or hardware-adjacent environments
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices
This is an on-site role based in London, working closely with both engineers and physical operations to build software that directly shapes how things are made.
