Security Engineer – Systematic Hedge Fund London or New York (4-days on-site) A leading systematic hedge fund is expanding its security team in London and New York. The firm combines technology, quantitative research, and data-driven trading strategies to build and operate highly scalable platforms across global financial markets. As a Security Engineer, you'll Oversee detection and response capabilities across infrastructure and cloud environments. Design and implement security controls across applications, infrastructure, and cloud platforms. Support authentication, authorisation, and internal certificate authority architecture. Define and enforce security standards, policies, and procedures. Partner with Engineering and Operations teams to embed security best practices. Contribute to long-term security architecture and scalability decisions. Qualifications Experience in security engineering, infrastructure security, or cloud security. Strong understanding of authentication, authorisation, PKI, and identity management. Familiarity with security monitoring, detection engineering, and incident response. Strong networking, systems, and infrastructure knowledge. Hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable operating in fast-paced environments.
