Radley Green is partnering with a global, PE-backed technology company to hire a Senior FP&A Manager for a newly created role. This position reports directly to the CFO and will take ownership of all post-acquisition costs, separation activities, and related financial processes. This is a senior Finance position in a recently separated, global organisation.
The leadership team is seeking someone with experience in large, matrixed businesses, someone who has managed or worked through a finance transformation project, exposure to acquisitions or IPOs, and management of a substantial cost base (£100m+). This role will pay £95k-£110k plus bonus, great benefits and hybrid working in central London.
The Senior FP&A Manager will oversee the management, tracking, and reporting of separation, remediation, and standalone costs across the organisation. This role partners with Finance leaders at both central and international levels, contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning activities. It also delivers clear, actionable financial insights to Finance Business Partners and senior stakeholders to support informed decision-making. Strong analytical, planning, and communication capabilities are essential. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring financial transparency and control during times of organisational change, helping to guide strategic decisions while safeguarding overall financial integrity.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and monitor costs associated with separation, remediation, and standalone projects.
- Ensure adherence to governance standards and timely submission of reports.
- Maintain comprehensive cost analyses by function (e.g., Technology, Finance, Property) and by type of expenditure (e.g., cloud, infrastructure).
- Track and review savings and spending related to transformation initiatives.
- Deliver accurate reporting of standalone costs across central and regional teams.
- Maintain cost trackers and contribute to monthly, quarterly, and external reports.
- Conduct variance analysis, identifying risks and opportunities early.
- Monitor cash versus accounting costs and distinguish between capex and opex.
- Support ad-hoc reporting requests and drive process improvements and automation.
- Assist in preparation and consolidation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term plans.
- Provide timely input for business reviews and board-level reporting.
- Partner with Finance Business Partners and operational teams to provide financial insights.
- Advise senior leadership on cost implications and strategic considerations.
- Work cross-functionally to resolve issues and ensure smooth financial operations.
- Coordinate month-end reporting and communication with local teams.
- Manage budget changes and highlight material risks promptly.
- Ensure adherence to reporting calendars and internal policies.
- Review third-party contracts for compliance and policy alignment.
- ACA-qualified or equivalent experience within a large, complex organisation.
- Experience managing a finance transformation.
- Experience in a PE-backed environment, or exposure to IPOs, acquisitions, or business separations.
- Strong FP&A expertise, including planning, forecasting, reporting, and budgeting.
- Ability to improve FP&A processes in large, matrixed businesses.
- Excellent financial analysis skills with the ability to influence decision-making.
- Collaborative, proactive, and able to operate effectively in ambiguous environments.
- Strong senior stakeholder management and influencing skills.
