Base pay range

This role will pay 45k – 50k depending on experience and qualification level. It is based in the West End on a flexible hybrid basis, with minimum 1 or 2 days a week in the office.

Are you interested in working for a global Digital Media business? Do you have experience with prepayments and accruals, and closing month end?

If so, we are looking for a Management Accountant to join our client’s growing finance team, reporting into the Financial Controller.

This role will be responsible for producing the management accounts packs for the UK and international business units, as well as providing financial analysis and support to stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and evaluation of monthly management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and KPI’s).
  • Analyse financial performance and KPIs and provide insightful commentary on variances.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and monthly reforecasts.
  • Preparing balance sheet and Stock and WIP reconciliations and maintaining the fixed asset register – creating and posting journals, prepayments & accruals.
  • Partner with department heads to provide financial guidance and support decision-making.
  • Preparing information for annual accounts and external audits and liaising with auditors.
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analyses as required.
  • Managing two non-qualified accountants in the management accounts team.
  • Completion and submission of relevant VAT and Tax returns.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Part Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or Finalist.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong Excel skills are required.
  • Experience with Netsuite and Salesforce is beneficial.
