A high-performing, globally active business is looking for a Financial Accountant to join its central finance team. This is not a traditional reporting role – it sits at the intersection of finance, systems, and data, supporting the evolution of how financial information is produced, analysed, and used.
You’ll work closely with senior finance leadership on group reporting, while also playing a key role in improving processes, enhancing reporting systems, and driving better use of data across the function.
Key responsibilities:- Support month-end and quarter-end close, including group consolidation
- Assist with statutory reporting and IFRS-compliant financial statements
- Partner with stakeholders to deliver insightful financial analysis
- Contribute to systems improvements and automation of reporting processes
- Work on data-driven initiatives to enhance financial reporting and decision-making
- Support audit processes and technical accounting requirements
- Maintain strong control over ledgers, reconciliations, accruals and adjustments
- Big 4 Top or 10 Qualified accountant (ACA - or equivalent)
- Strong grounding in financial reporting and IFRS and IFRS 19
- Experience with consolidation systems and large data sets
- Naturally curious with an interest in systems, process improvement, and analytics
- Confident working in a fast-paced, high-performing environment
