Radley Green is partnering with a global tech company to hire a Senior Finance Business Partner – Technology to partner the CTO of this global business. This role will partner the CTO of this fast-growth business and will act as a strategic liaison between the technology and finance function, responsible for managing IT budgets, forecasting costs, and evaluating the ROI of technology investments. This role will drive financial performance, optimise technology spend, and ensure IT projects align with company goals. This is initially a 6 month fixed term contract paying £80k - £90k base salary and hybrid working.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Strategic Planning: Collaborating with CTO on technology roadmaps, capacity planning, and business case development.
- Financial Control: Managing and monitoring IT capital expenditure (CapEx) and operational expenditure (OpEx), ensuring compliance with financial policies.
- Reporting & Analysis: Providing real-time financial insights, variance analysis (actuals vs. budget), and performance reporting to IT leadership.
- Value Creation: Identifying cost-saving opportunities, efficiency improvements, and assessing the ROI of technology projects.
- Trusted Advisor: Acting as a bridge between technical teams and finance, translating technical needs into financial terms.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Experience working in a Technology Finance Business Partner role within a large, complex organisation.
- Strong FP&A / Business Partnering expertise, including planning, forecasting, reporting, and budgeting.
- Proven track record managing significant cost bases.
- Experience managing a finance transformation.
- Excellent financial analysis skills with the ability to influence decision-making.
- Collaborative, proactive, and able to operate effectively in ambiguous environments.
- Strong senior stakeholder management and influencing skills.
