Our client is undergoing a period of transformation and requires a Part Qualified Financial Accountant to join their finance team. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, playing a key role in supporting the Finance Manager to maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with reporting standards. Our client needs someone who has significant experience with Balance Sheet reconciliations with a large company background. This role will pay between £45k and £50k and candidates must have the relevant balance sheet experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Finance Manager with month-end close processes.
- Review and reconcile payroll balance sheet accounts, ensuring all balances are well-documented and supported, and highlighting areas of risk or opportunity.
- Collaborate with the Payroll team to ensure timely receipt and accurate treatment of all relevant data.
- Assist with internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and maintain best practices.
- Prepare management information and reports as required.
- Perform ad hoc financial tasks as needed.
Candidate Requirements
- Part-Qualified / Studier (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Strong balance sheet reconciliation experience.
- Experience working within large, complex organisations.
