Recently infused with PE investment, this company is on a dynamic growth journey, poised to centralize its finance function and elevate its operations to new heights.
They are seeking a Finance Manager to instill rigor in their processes and oversee the group’s financial control framework. This role is integral to the newly formed European finance team and offers the chance to make a significant impact during an exciting phase of growth.
Key Responsibilities (UK & European Entities):
- Prepare internal financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
- Oversee the preparation of high-quality financial reports, including management and statutory accounts, and present them to senior management.
- Manage month-end close processes across multiple European entities.
- Ensure compliance with external and statutory financial requirements, liaising with auditors and advisors as needed.
- Reconcile intercompany balances and perform currency revaluations.
- Handle inventory accounting and manage customer rebate provisions, ensuring proper authorization of credits and deductions.
- Act as a backup for other roles within the finance department.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA) with experience in financial management.
- Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial reporting/management software and Microsoft Excel, with a strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- A proven ability to drive change and enhance efficiency in a fast-paced, small-organization environment.
Preferred (but not essential):
- Experience in the fashion, wholesale, or retail sectors (flexible for the right candidate).
