Radley Green is partnering exclusively with a fast growth £25m revenue Consulting firm to recruit a Financial Controller in a newly created role. This role will work in a small finance function and take ownership of all financial reporting, oversight of management accounts, year-end accounts and audit plus revenue and timesheet tracking and reporting. This role will pay £75k-£80k + bonus + strong benefits and 3 days a week in the office in London. This is a senior role partnering closely with the leadership team, with responsibility for delivering high-quality reporting, strong financial controls and efficient finance operations across the Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the financial reporting function, ensuring accurate, timely monthly management accounts, analysis and cash flow forecasting.
  • Act as the primary finance contact for subsidiary accountants and external auditors.
  • Own the finance control framework, audit process and statutory accounts.
  • Manage and develop the finance team, reviewing outputs and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Drive finance systems and process improvements, including spend management tools.
  • Oversee client financial management, revenue tracking and new business reporting.
  • End-to-end ownership of payroll across all entities, including pensions, benefits and payroll tax.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory reporting (VAT, tax returns).

Candidate Profile

  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).
  • Strong background in financial reporting, controllership or financial control.
  • Ideally experience gained in a Consulting / Agency environment but flexible.
  • Confident managing teams, audits and senior stakeholders.
  • Hands-on, systems-focused and process-driven.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, growing environment.
