Location: Central London (near Chancery Lane)

Working Pattern: Wednesday to Friday, office-based

Duration: Initial 3 months, then rolling month to month

We’re supporting a dynamic, fast-paced live entertainment business based in central London that is looking for a part-time Accounts Assistant to support the finance team following a recent system migration. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role, with a key focus on clearing a backlog of historic transactions and helping bring the accounts fully up to date. The role suits someone who enjoys being embedded in the business and working closely with the finance team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Posting receipts and payments into Xero
  • Working from hard-copy source documents
  • Processing transactions across multiple creditor ledgers (GBP, EUR, USD)
  • Assisting with historic transaction posting across prior periods
  • Supporting basic filing and document organisation
  • Working closely with the finance lead, who will provide guidance and oversight

Systems & Experience Required

  • Background in Accounts Assistant, AP, or transactional finance roles
  • Comfortable with manual processing and backlog clean-up work
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Happy working on-site as part of a close-knit team

Working Pattern & Commitment

  • Three days per week, office-based (Wednesday – Friday)
  • Initial three-month commitment, with flexibility to extend
  • Consistency and reliability are important due to the nature of the work
