Sailing Coach Job Description
Radley College is looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable sailing professional with excellent boat handling and coaching skills.
You will need to be well‑organised and take the lead in instructing both our novices and advanced sailors including race coaching.
This role combines hands‑on coaching with responsibility for maintaining and developing the College’s sailing fleet.
Working closely with the Director of Sport, you will support training and racing activities, have a commitment to health and safety, ensuring all boats and equipment are maintained to a high standard.
The successful candidate will hold an RYA Senior Instructor certificate and a full UK driving licence.
Additional coaching, powerboat or race management qualifications would be advantageous.
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the continued growth and success of the school’s sailing programme.
This is a part time position, 3‑4 days per week during term time and selected competitions/regattas. Training will take place at Farmoor Reservoir (via Oxford Sail Training Trust).
