Radley College is excited to offer an opportunity for a Laundry Driver/ Assistant to join our dedicated Laundry team.
Working alongside the Laundry Caretakers to assist with the collection/delivery of laundry over site and to/from the Laundry.
We are seeking a friendly, reliable individual with a good sense of humour, who enjoys working both independently and as part of a team.
The role involves driving a College vehicle to collect and deliver laundry across campus, sorting and preparing items for washing, operating industrial laundry equipment, and assisting with pressing, folding, and packing to College standards.
Responsibilities
- Drive a College vehicle to collect and deliver laundry across campus.
- Sort and prepare items for washing.
- Operate industrial laundry equipment.
- Assist with pressing, folding, and packing to College standards.
- Help maintain laundry equipment and vehicles.
- Monitor detergent and chemical supplies.
- Undertake routine vehicle checks.
- Assist with general cleaning and manual handling duties to ensure a safe, efficient, and high-quality laundry service.
- Schedule
Term time only position, 25.5 hours per week.
Monday and Tuesday: 6.00am – 12.00pm, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday: 6.00am – 10.30am.
