Join UAL Arts Temps as our Recruitment Operations Manager and help shape the performance and future development of our recruitment service.
UAL Arts Temps helps employers recruit UAL students, graduates and alumni into temporary and permanent roles across a wide range of industries. From design and content creation to production, marketing, social media and studio support, we provide access to adaptable creative professionals who are ready to make an impact.
In this influential role, you will work closely with the Associate Director to lead the effective day-to-day operations of the business, manage a small team, and ensure that our recruitment services are efficient, compliant, inclusive and responsive to the needs of candidates and clients.
You will line-manage our Compliance Coordinator and Administrator, while supporting the effectiveness of our wider recruitment and marketing teams. You will oversee recruitment systems and operational processes, maintain high standards of regulatory and data-protection compliance, and use performance data, feedback and market insight to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
You will also shape inclusive recruitment practices, contribute to business development and modern resourcing strategies, and build strong relationships with hiring managers, candidates, external clients and professional partners.
About you
You will bring proven experience of managing the full 360-degree recruitment lifecycle, with confidence in using applicant tracking systems and a strong understanding of the legislation and regulations governing employment agencies.
You will be an experienced and supportive manager who can set clear priorities, translate business goals into practical operational plans and help colleagues perform at their best. Highly organised and comfortable managing competing deadlines, you will be able to improve processes without losing sight of customer service, compliance or the candidate experience.
You will also be a clear and adaptable communicator, able to build trusted relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and navigate different perspectives constructively. A proactive and analytical approach is essential, together with the ability to use data and insight to solve problems, improve performance and support the continued development of the service.
