The Rental Assistant is responsible for supporting the fleet hire function, operating as a Rental Desk Operative and providing excellent customer service.

The role supports the Supervisor in ensuring the fleet is monitored, moved, and maintained appropriately while keeping systems updated and accurate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take on-hire bookings.
  • Facilitate off-hire bookings.
  • Build strong relationships with customers to deliver best-in-class service.
  • Liaise with customers on ongoing rental fleet enquiries.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date rental systems.
  • Ensure customer billing is accurate and current.
  • Work with sales to communicate vehicle availability consistently.
  • Recommend customer service enhancements as part of continuous improvement.
