We’re looking for a software-focused Product Owner to join our fast-growing Vehicle Telematics division. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is ready to take the next step in their product career, working alongside experienced leaders and cross-functional teams in a product-driven sector. You’ll support the development and delivery of innovative software products that improve customer experience and drive business growth. You’ll collaborate with engineering, UX/UI, and other stakeholders to turn ideas into features and help shape the product roadmap. In-person collaboration is very important to us. This is an office-based role, working Monday to Friday from telematics head office in Crewe, Cheshire.

Your responsibilities day to day will be:

  • Assist the Product Director in identifying market opportunities and analysing competitors.
  • Collaborate with UX research, marketing, and customer teams to gather insights and feedback.
  • Contribute to the development of product vision and roadmap.
  • Help define features, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
  • Participate in planning, refinement, and post-release activities like demos and training.
  • Keep stakeholders informed on roadmap progress.
  • Work closely with engineering, UX/UI, and other Product Owners to validate solutions through prototyping and testing.
  • Support pricing strategy discussions and ROI assessments.
  • Maintain clear and up-to-date product documentation.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support product launches and training.
  • Provide content to help us drive lead generation and market awareness.
  • Monitor product performance and contribute to lifecycle planning.
  • Ensure compliance with evolving regulations.

What do we expect from you?

  • At least 2 years experience in a Software Product Owner or Software Product Manager role.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Professional, flexible, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel globally on occasion.
  • Experience in the telematics sector is a bonus, but not essential.
