Full‑time position. The role of Graduate Full Stack Developer is really important to us. In this role you’ll build on your Python and ReactJS knowledge as part of the software development team in our successful and growing vehicle telematics business unit. A Graduate Developer role offers real‑life exposure to the technologies we use and to the international marketplace. It provides the opportunity to gain experience on impactful projects and develop skills in an environment that encourages excellence and rewards inquisitive minds. Students will have access to a support network of peers, managers and mentors to help maximise learning and career decisions. With comprehensive on‑ and off‑the‑job training, you will contribute to live projects, gaining a unique overview of the business and building a rewarding long‑term career. We would love to welcome you to our brand‑new telematics head office at Arden Square, Crewe, Cheshire, working hours Monday‑Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm. We currently do not provide visa sponsorship; you must be fully authorised to work in the UK.
Your responsibilities day to day will be…
- Coordinate with internal teams and work as a team player
- Assess feature requests and develop technical solutions
- Write effective, scalable, and testable code
- Integrate user‑facing elements into applications
- Improve functionality of existing systems
- Test and debug programs
- Identify and fix production bugs
What do we expect of you?
- Recent degree in computer science or equivalent subject
- Familiar with at least one popular Python framework such as Django/DRF, FastAPI or Flask
- Familiar with ReactJS or other JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js or Angular
- Good problem‑solving skills
- Passion for simplifying processes
- Familiar with relational database design (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)
- Beneficial to know NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB, Cassandra or MongoDB
