Radius’ Emerging Business Unit (EBU) is composed of its newest business ventures across Telecoms, Vehicle Leasing, Insurance, Energy and our proprietary business charge card, Velos. Working as a Commercial Finance Analyst, you will provide financial, commercial, and analytical support to the Radius Insurance, Energy and Velos business units, including the continued development of performance reporting designed to provide key stakeholders with appropriate insight to make informed business decisions.
Typical Work Responsibilities Include:
- Delivery of regular weekly and monthly reporting to agreed timescales and deadlines.
- Development of existing reporting and KPI suite to ensure this stays relevant to the trading environment of the business.
- Own, manage and improve Budget and Rolling Forecast models ensuring outputs are robust, challenge assumptions where required and deliver timely updates into the Business Units.
- Liaising with a wide range of stakeholders across the business – Group Finance, Accounting & Financial Control, Sales & Marketing.
- Ensure one version of the truth in our reported numbers, leverage and develop tools like Tableau and PowerBI to support this.
Qualifications:
- Degree level education, preferably mathematical, statistical, finance or economics or same via experience.
- Good technical skills with basic knowledge and experience use of MS Excel, or reporting suites (Tableau and PowerBI would be highly advantageous).
- Knowledge and ability to use SQL, Python etc also advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail and a curious, data-driven thinker.
- Personable, approachable, and dynamic, reliable worker.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines, operating with a continuous improvement attitude.
- Ability to take full responsibility for their duties but are enthusiastic to take on new challenges which will develop your own career.
