  • Associate Business Analyst to join our

Data Services & Reporting team, helping to deliver data, reporting and analytics solutions that create measurable business value.

Working closely with business stakeholders, Data Analysts, Data Engineers and Delivery Managers, you will play a key role in understanding business challenges, defining requirements and supporting the delivery of data-led solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a BA who enjoys working with data and wants to further develop their skills within a growing analytics environment.

While this is an Associate-level position, please note that we are looking for candidates who already have experience in a Business Analyst, Junior Business Analyst or similar requirements-focused role.

  • What you’ll be doing…
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business to understand challenges, priorities and opportunities.
  • Gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements for data, reporting and analytics initiatives.
  • Producing process maps, user stories, business rules and acceptance criteria.
  • Supporting impact assessments, gap analysis and root cause investigations.
  • Working with technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and successfully delivered.
  • Helping to promote the adoption and effective use of reporting, analytics and self-service solutions.
  • Supporting solution testing and validation using SQL and Business Intelligence tools.

This role is best suited to candidates who already have experience gathering requirements and working with stakeholders in a Business Analyst capacity or similar.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need

  • Previous experience in a Business Analyst, Junior Business Analyst, Associate Business Analyst or similar requirements-focused role.
  • Experience engaging with stakeholders and facilitating discussions to gather and refine business requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to challenge assumptions and identify root causes.
  • Experience documenting requirements, process flows, user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, including the ability to interrogate and validate data.
  • Experience using Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI or similar.
  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence working with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Particularly suited to candidates who have

  • Worked within data, reporting, analytics or business intelligence environments.
  • Experience partnering with technical delivery teams including Data Analysts, Data Engineers or reporting teams.
  • Exposure to product ownership, demand management or business partnering activities.
