Location: Hilcote, Derbyshire

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to work with one of our shift-based production teams. The shift pattern will be 4 on, 4 off, 2 days, 2 nights on a rotating basis.

The Role

  • First line response to breakdowns
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and repair as needed
  • Carry out agreed improvement modifications
  • Keep accurate maintenance records
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed
  • Contribute to Continuous Improvement

Candidate Skills/Knowledge/Experience

  • 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • HNC/HND in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or a time served Electrical/Mechanical apprenticeship
  • Proven experience in maintenance, repair and troubleshooting
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate at all levels

Desirable Skills/Knowledge/Experience

  • Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems and/or extrusion and injection moulding
  • IOSH or NEBOSH qualification
  • 18th Edition Electrical Installation qualification
  • Servo Drives experience
