b Overview /b p In this role you will design, implement, and optimize enterprise voice and unified communications to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing telephony services. You will work with SIP-based systems, contact centre technologies, and vendor/carrier integration to ensure resilient voice delivery. You will diagnose issues, drive improvements, and support migrations and upgrades as part of IT Operations. This position offers a chance to shape Radius’s voice strategy and improve call quality at scale. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to realise strategic goals for communications. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li Pension /li li Life assurance /li li Employee fuel card scheme /li li Electric Vehicle scheme /li li Employee assistance programme /li li Wellness and healthcare assistance via Help@Hand by Unum /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Design, deploy and maintain enterprise voice and unified communications platforms /li li Manage SIP trunks, SBCs, call routing and dial plans /li li Support cloud telephony platforms, including contact centre solutions /li li Maintain voice platform availability, resilience and performance /li li Investigate and resolve voice-related incidents and service requests /li li Diagnose SIP signalling, media flow and call quality issues /li li Collaborate with providers and vendors to resolve carrier issues /li li Perform root cause analysis and implement preventative measures /li li Support voice network requirements (QoS, firewalls, routing and security) /li li Assist with telephony migrations, upgrades and transformation projects /li li Support disaster recovery and business continuity for voice services /li li Proactively monitor voice environments and service performance /li li Identify opportunities to improve call quality, reliability and operational efficiency /li li Produce reports on service availability, utilisation and performance /li li Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams and procedures /li li Develop and maintain voice engineering standards and best practices /li li Support audit, compliance and security requirements relating to voice services /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Proven experience with enterprise level voice and collaboration platforms and call recording/reporting solutions /li li Strong experience supporting SIP-based voice solutions /li li Knowledge of Microsoft Teams Phone including Direct Routing and Operator Connect /li li Excellent understanding of SIP signalling, RTP and VoIP /li li Experience with Session Border Controllers /li li Knowledge of carrier connectivity, SIP trunking and number management /li li Experience supporting cloud telephony and contact centre platforms /li li Ability to troubleshoot complex voice and call quality issues /li li Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, QoS, firewalls, routing) /li /ul ul li SIP/VoIP /li li Session Border Controllers (SBCs) /li li SIP trunking and carrier connectivity /li li Microsoft Teams Phone (Direct Routing, Operator Connect) /li li VoIP call quality troubleshooting /li li QoS, firewalls, routing /li /ul
