Key Responsibilities
- Provide practical and timely VAT advice to business stakeholders across operational and finance teams.
- Support business initiatives, projects, and transactional workflows by ensuring correct VAT treatment.

- Deliver VAT training and guidance to non‐tax teams (e.g., Accounts Payable, Sales, Finance Operations).
- Act as a point of contact for VAT-related queries from internal teams.
- Assist the Head of Indirect Tax with HMRC enquiries, information requests, and audit queries.
- Support the review of VAT returns and related compliance tasks where required.
- Mentor junior team members, providing feedback and reviewing their work as required.
Qualifications Experience & Qualifications
- 4-6 years of hands‐on UK VAT experience gained in practice or industry.

- Experience supporting finance system changes or process improvement projects.
- Exposure to advisory work on transactions or cross‐functional projects.
Core Skills
- Strong analytical and problem‐solving ability.
- Clear and effective communication skills, including the ability to explain VAT issues to non‐specialists.
