Overview
As an HR Advisor at Radius, you will support managers and colleagues across the business with practical, commercially-focused people advice. You’ll manage a varied caseload across absence, performance, conduct, wellbeing, and queries, shaping consistent employee experiences in a fast-growing global organisation. You’ll coach managers, contribute to people projects, and help maintain data quality and compliant policies. This role offers broad, hands-on HR exposure in a collaborative People Services team, with scope to develop your capability and impact across the employee lifecycle. Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day people advice and coaching to managers and employees across the Radius Group
- Manage a varied caseload covering absence, performance, conduct, wellbeing, and employee queries
- Support managers with long-term absence cases, including welfare meetings, occupational health referrals, return-to-work planning, and capability processes
- Advise on family-friendly policies including maternity, paternity, adoption, and shared parental leave
- Own caseload, deliver high-quality, timely service and escalate complex matters when required
- Attend formal people meetings as a representative and note-taker
- Maintain accurate people data in HR systems and champion data quality
- Review and improve people policies, processes, and documentation for best practice and legal compliance
- Support and coach People Associates, sharing knowledge to build team capability
- Contribute to wider People projects such as engagement surveys, Investors in People, and initiatives aligned to our People strategy
Key requirements
- Proven experience in a generalist HR or People Advisor role within a commercial environment
- Solid knowledge of UK employment law with experience handling a wide range of people matters
- CIPD qualification is desirable but not essential
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and a varied workload
- Strong attention to detail with experience using HR systems and data
- Clear, confident communication with influencing, coaching, and relationship-building skills
- Collaborative team player with a focus on developing others
