Overview

In this role you will strengthen and oversee Radius’s Environmental Management System and sustainability governance.

You will drive the ISO 14001 framework, support the 14001:2026 transition, and ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

You’ll coordinate carbon data using Watershed and contribute to CSRD, SECR and ESOS reporting, while engaging stakeholders to foster continuous environmental improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Support and develop the Environmental Management System (EMS) aligned with ISO 14001
  • Lead preparations for the ISO 14001:2026 transition
  • Maintain environmental policies, procedures and governance documents
  • Manage Environmental Legal Register and track evolving legislation across jurisdictions
  • Coordinate carbon footprint data and act as a key Watershed user
  • Support mandatory sustainability reporting (CSRD, SECR, ESOS)
  • Monitor emerging environmental, energy, and EV legislation in UK/Europe
  • Build cross-functional relationships to drive environmental awareness and continuous improvement
  • Key requirements
  • Around 4-5 years' experience in environmental or sustainability-focused roles
  • Hands-on experience with ISO 14001 EMS
  • Strong understanding of environmental legislation and compliance
  • Experience gathering and analysing environmental or carbon data
  • Interest in sustainability reporting and evolving ESG requirements
  • Proactive mindset with ownership and drive for improvement
