Overview
As a Cyber Security Analyst at Radius, you will protect systems, networks and data from cyber threats while strengthening our security posture. You’ll support threat detection, incident response and the ongoing development of our ISMS with ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus. You will help mature SOC processes and collaborate with IT Operations and business teams to embed security across internal and customer-facing platforms. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role in a fast-paced environment with meaningful impact on risk reduction and resilience.

Responsibilities
- Protect systems, networks and data by implementing and optimizing security controls across internal and customer-facing platforms
- Detect threats, monitor events and conduct incident response to minimise business impact
- Support design and evolution of the ISMS (ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus) and SOC processes
- Collaborate with IT Operations and development teams to embed secure design and SDLC practices
- Create, maintain and review cyber security policies, standards and technical documentation
- Lead vulnerability management activities including identification, risk assessment, remediation tracking and reporting
- Conduct threat intelligence research and recommend security improvements
- Work with third-party vendors and consultants to support security operations and enhancements
- Lead security projects to improve capability, resilience and compliance
Key requirements
- Strong technical knowledge of cyber security across technology environments
- Experience with vulnerability management, penetration testing and security assessments
- Experience with EDR, NDR and SIEM technologies
- Understanding of incident response, triage and containment
- Knowledge of Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO 27001
- Good understanding of Windows and Linux, networking, virtualization, databases, web servers, TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls
- Cloud security experience, preferably AWS, including IAM and monitoring
- Understanding of DLP, software supply-chain risk and secure architecture
- Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and NIST Cybersecurity Frameworks
- Strong analytical, documentation and stakeholder communication skills
- Knowledge of ITIL/service management principles
