The Enterprise Account Manager will drive growth by developing and retaining high-value fuel customers. This role focuses on large-scale or strategically important relationships. It involves managing enterprise-level customer relationships through regular meetings, calls and development of group opportunities. Building growth within the portfolio through additional opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a small select portfolio of our largest fuel clients; covering all their needs.
- Complete regular business reviews and face-to-face meetings with all clients, including arranging meetings and scheduling travel.
- Champion use of Salesforce CRM to record activity and all information accurately in relation to accounts.
- Work with colleagues to provide collaborative solutions to achieve high penetration of non-fuel products into the portfolio.
- Deep understanding of market factors and support clients through any transition to alternative fuels.
- Support Enterprise Sales to ensure smooth transition/continuation of relationship for new clients.
- Handle any requirements to liaise with clients on behalf of other departments.
- Proven experience in developing growing portfolios of B2B clients.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build senior-level relationships and influence key decision-makers.
- Experience managing tenders or formal procurement processes.
- Desirable:
- Knowledge of fuel supply chain and different purchasing methods.
- Experience negotiating pricing and understanding of pricing models.
- Knowledge of credit risk, cashflow benefits and operational processes affecting businesses.
- Self-starter with a proactive and driven approach.
- Uses the CRM for all interactions and updates Salesforce.
- Commercially astute with strong analytical thinking.
