This team is responsible for the Vetting, Monitoring, and Collections functions for two independent fuel card companies operating in Ireland.This would be an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to challenge and improve existing processes and procedures, influence new ways of working and broaden their knowledge across the full credit control function.Due to the end-to-end nature of the role, the successful candidate will develop skills across all critical areas of credit control, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the function and its impact.ResponsibilitiesKey TasksAnalyse and collate data from multiple sources to complete thorough risk reviewsCommunicate risk recommendations to senior stakeholders to help shape risk/reward decisionsReview financial information and assess risk profiles to support credit decisionsMaintain accurate customer credit limits to ensure accounts remain within approved thresholdsMonitor customer transaction levels, identifying potential misuse or fraudulent activityEnsure accurate and timely record keeping across all credit-related systems and documentationIndividual ManagementWorkload planning and prioritisationDaily review of credit limit breaches, prioritising workload based on risksManage accounts through to conclusion, obtaining buy-in for actions from key stakeholdersFraud prevention using spend trends to identify risksTimely query resolution, working with colleagues in Sales, Fin Ops and Transaction Queries to resolve issuesManage the relationship with sales team to ensure open communication and agreed level of risk/ rewardUnderwrite credit limitsPresenting credit recommendations to key stakeholdersCredit alert management, ensuring effective decisions are made to minimize riskProcessing of new applications within a timely manner, including underwriting new businessEnsuring that we are adhering to Insurance Policies, reporting of non-payments applying appropriate customer credit limitsResponding to customer queries/complaints effectively & efficientlyDealing with customer payments and ledger managementDepartmental and Business integrationActively engage in relevant and appropriate opportunities for cross-department working to build relationshipsParticipate in meetings and projects with wider credit team to continually improve department performanceDeveloping and maintaining excellent relationships with key stakeholders within the Radius Group & Irish AgentsSharing best practise across the whole Credit Department, obtaining ideas of implementation into the Irish Agents TeamQualificationsCustomer service skills and demonstrate the ability to manage a varied and demanding workloadStrong Excel skillsDiligent & a keen eye for detailOwn queries and problem resolutionExcellent ability to communicate at all levelsFlexible approach and attitudeOrganised & able to work accurately within a timeframeAdditional InformationBenefits:A friendly culture that mirrors our proposition to our customers.
