The role of Associate Technical Delivery Manager – Data (ATDM) is really important to us. This is a new role in our Data Services & Reporting (DS&R) function and a great opportunity for a pro-active, skilled individual to make an impact. If you have some initial experience with technical or digital project management and are looking to continue your career progression, this role may well be for you.

DS&R consists of Data Engineers and Data Analysts and provides services across all divisions, departments and global regions in Radius. Collectively we create insight and analysis capabilities built on modelled datasets in our Data Warehouse fed by data pipelines from source systems.

As ATDM, you will sit in the heart of the DS&R team, bringing new projects to life through business engagement, scoping requirements, managing progress with stakeholders, and striving to deliver to time, scope and quality. The backbone of the role is Project Delivery with elements of Business Analyst, Product Owner and Business Partner skillsets. You will work closely with the Senior Technical Delivery Manager and DS&R leaders to help shape the project roadmap and will also be hands on in running the routine scrum ceremonies. You will have the opportunity to lead projects and also coach the wider team on the fundamentals of project management.

What you'll be doing...

  • Project manage the delivery of assigned DS&R projects, co-ordinating resources, continually assessing risks and engaging with stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Facilitate the disciplined running of sprint ceremonies, adopting and embedding best practice for the running of these vital scrum ceremonies (Backlog refinement, Sprint Planning, Standup, Sprint Reviews, Sprint retros).
  • Work closely with the Senior Technical Delivery Manager and the wider DS&R leaders to assess and improve the systems employed to manage and report on the end-to-end project delivery programme.
  • Help coach wider team members to further sharpen their delivery focus and project management skills.
  • Co-ordinate delivery of the wider DS&R project roadmap, through the adopted agile (Scrum) framework.

  • Experience in delivering projects to Scope, Quality and Time.
  • Experience of structured project frameworks e.g. Waterfall and Agile.
  • Ability to be analytical and critical in your thinking.
  • Ability to escalate risks and issues, and present possible solutions.
  • A pro-active mindset.
