Purpose: This high-impact, sales-driven role is focused on maximising new business opportunities through inbound and warm leads generated across the UK.
You will take ownership of incoming client enquiries, as well as capitalise on pre-qualified, warm transfers from our internal lead generation team to convert opportunities into revenue.
In addition to handling strong inbound demand, you will actively drive outbound activity, engaging with our exclusive Radius client base to uncover and secure new opportunities.
You will work with both new prospects and existing customers approaching their renewal date, positioning tailored fleet insurance solutions within a critical 30-day window.
Success in this role requires a proactive, target-oriented mindset, strong closing skills, and the ability to build rapport quickly-turning every interaction into a potential sale while consistently delivering against ambitious growth and revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities
- Proactively manage inbound enquiries, conducting detailed fact-finds to clearly understand each client's insurance requirements, risks, and priorities.
- Leverage our insurer panel to source and present competitive, tailored fleet insurance solutions, ensuring all client demands and needs are fully met.
- Negotiate effectively with insurers to secure the most favourable rates, discounts, and cover terms for clients while maximising commercial outcomes.
- Consistently achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs, demonstrating a strong focus on sales performance and revenue generation.
- Maintain excellent pipeline management by promptly following up on all leads, diary appointments, and callbacks to maximise conversion opportunities.
- Deliver a positive, professional customer experience in every interaction, building strong rapport and long‑term client relationships.
- Identify and capitalise on cross‑selling opportunities during the fact‑find process, supporting clients with broader insurance solutions while driving business growth and increased revenue across Radius.
Requirements
- Proven experience in insurance broking is essential, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked within fleet insurance.
- Demonstrates a proactive attitude with a genuine willingness and drive to learn, develop, and continuously improve.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate value propositions and influence client decisions.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills, enabling you to establish trust and rapport quickly with prospects and clients.
