Job Description
During the first year, you will focus on developing a strong understanding of business processes, systems and customer administration activities. Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting day-to-day Sales Operations activities.
- Maintaining customer and business data within internal systems.
- Assisting with reporting, analysis and process administration.
- Developing an understanding of CRM systems and operational workflows.
- Working closely with stakeholders across the business to support service delivery and process improvement initiatives.
The first year will provide a solid foundation in operational excellence, business processes and stakeholder engagement.
Year 2: Customer Retention & Renewals (sales)
In the second year, you will transition into a customer-facing sales role focused on customer retention and contract renewals. Responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of customers approaching renewal.
- Building strong customer relationships and understanding customer needs.
- Managing the end-to-end renewal sales process.
- Identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional products and services.
- Achieving renewal, retention and revenue targets.
- Using customer and commercial data to identify opportunities and mitigate churn risks.
- Working closely with Account Managers and Customer Service teams to deliver excellent customer outcomes.
- Developing negotiation, objection handling and consultative selling skills
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2:1 in any degree
- Competent in using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Able to adapt to change, responding well to delays or unexpected demands.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated.
- Good at working as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail.
