We are looking for an ambitious and proactive marketing professional to join our team as a Marketing Communications Executive. Reporting to the Senior Communications Manager, you'll be responsible for delivering effective email, SMS and WhatsApp campaigns, creating engaging content and coordinating projects across multiple countries. The majority of your work will support our thriving fuel card business unit. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on marketing within a fast-paced environment. You'll work closely with sales, customer service and our commercial teams to deliver a consistent and compelling customer experience globally. In-person collaboration is very important to us. This is an office-based role, working Monday to Friday from our Radius Campus head office in Crewe, Cheshire. The onsite facilities are excellent, including gym, changing rooms, café, barista bar, and multiple breakout areas. Learning development and career progression are at the core of our people principles. In this role, the learning opportunities include working towards a certification in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Responsibilities:
- Devise, execute and manage campaigns that align with the business objectives.
- Support the development and automation of marketing campaigns designed to attract, retain or engage with our customers.
- Use A/B testing and performance data to optimise email content, design and automation for maximum engagement.
- Prepare and communicate clear campaign briefs and assets, ensuring adherence to project deadlines.
- Maintain brand consistency across all external communications and marketing materials.
- Create engaging content via email, WhatsApp and SMS.
- Build and nurture relationships with stakeholders at all levels, as well as collaborate with international teams.
What we expect from you:
- You will have at least 12 months experience in a marketing, content or communications role, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Your knowledge and experience should include:
- Project management and stakeholder engagement skills, ideally in a multinational context.
- Knowledge of email marketing best practices and experience with CRM tools (familiarity with Salesforce/Marketing Cloud is a plus).
- Basic HTML knowledge (or willingness to learn).
- Creative thinker with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
- Excellent written communication with a keen eye for proofreading and content quality.
