This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive IT Support Engineer with experience in site auditing to join our friendly team. You will be responsible for assessing, documenting, and optimising IT infrastructure across our customer base. This role involves a combination of onsite IT support, hardware/software troubleshooting, and site audits to ensure all systems comply with organisational standards and best practices.
Qualifications Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in IT support, service desk, or field support engineering
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Office 365, Active Directory, and networking fundamentals
- Experience with onsite IT setup, troubleshooting, and hardware installation
- Willingness to travel to different sites (valid driver's license required)
Desirable Skills (Not Mandatory)
- Familiarity with IT asset management tools
- Degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of network diagrams, patch panels, and structured cabling standards
- Certifications: CompTIA A+, Microsoft Modern Desktop Admin, ITIL Foundation, CCNA (plus)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift IT hardware (e.g. PCs, monitors, routers)
- Comfortable working in network/server rooms and running cable assessments
Work Environment
- Combination of office work and on-site inspections (branches, warehouses, etc.)
- Occasionally working after-hours during upgrades or audit tasks
