The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 £ per year.
We are currently looking to recruit an IT Support Analyst to assist the IT Operations team in the delivery of IT service and support across the group. This position will be an Industrial Placement located at the group’s Head Office in Crewe, Cheshire, UK. The successful applicant will be at the front-line, dealing directly with customers who have IT issues and requests and working closely with Support teams to resolve support requests quickly and efficiently.
Typical work activities include:
- Responding to and logging people’s requests and faults submitted by telephone, email and the IT Service Desk self-service logging tool.
- Prioritising support calls and allocating them to the relevant technical support team/s.
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software faults.
- Ensuring that all support faults and requests received into the IT Service Desk are answered and responded to within agreed timelines.
- Keeping internal customers informed of any IT related issues that might impact their teams.
Key tasks include:
- Logging customer faults and requests.
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware/software faults.
- Analysing call logs to spot trends and underlying issues.
- Providing 1st line technical support over core technologies as required.
Qualifications
- Experience of providing excellent customer service and/or administrative excellence.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Eager to learn and passionate about IT support.
- Self-motivated with strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Passionate about customer service.
- Positive, flexible attitude to work.
