Job Description
Executive Assistant to support our Group CEO in a high-profile role at the heart of the business.
The role involves comprehensive and proactive support across diary and inbox management, travel, events and confidential project work.
Core hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with flexibility to provide support outside core hours as required.
The role is based at our Campus HQ Crewe.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Group CEO’s diary end to end, prioritising competing demands and proactively handling requests from across the business.
- Manage the Group CEO’s inbox, screen and triage correspondence, and act as a trusted first point of contact.
- Prepare the CEO pack and other board and executive materials, often at short notice and under tight deadlines.
- Arrange and coordinate UK and international travel, accommodation and detailed itineraries.
- Organise offsites, events and business meetings end to end, including venues, logistics and attendees.
- Attend business meetings to capture actions and maintain an informed view of activity across the business.
- Handle highly confidential information with absolute discretion and sound judgement.
- Build effective relationships with senior stakeholders internally and externally, representing the Group CEO’s office professionally.
- Provide flexible support outside core hours when required, including occasional evening and weekend responsiveness.
Qualifications
- Significant experience as an Executive Assistant at CEO or board level, ideally in a large corporate environment.
- Degree-level education and/or relevant professional qualifications, with the ability to operate confidently at senior levels.
- Professional and composed demeanour suitable for supporting a Group CEO.
- Exceptional diary and inbox management skills.
- Strong prioritisation and organisational abilities to manage a complex, high-volume workload.
- Well-versed in travel planning and logistics, including international travel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Absolute discretion and sound judgement when handling confidential matters.
- Flexibility to provide support outside core hours when required.
- Highly self-motivated, proactive and calm under pressure.
