We're looking for an Associate Data Analyst to join our Data Services & Reporting team. In this role you’ll help to deliver reporting, dashboards and insight that support business decisions across a wide range of functions and stakeholders at Radius. Please note that we’re looking for candidates who can demonstrate an existing foundation in data analysis. This is an ideal opportunity for someone in the early stages of their data career who wants to build on their technical and analytical skills while working on real business challenges.
Whether you're a recent graduate with a relevant degree or have gained some initial experience in a data-focused role, this position offers the opportunity to develop your skills in SQL, reporting, dashboard development and stakeholder engagement while working across a broad range of business functions. You'll gain exposure to large datasets, real-world business challenges and experienced data professionals who can support your continued development. This is an office-based role, working Monday to Friday from our offices in Crewe.
What you'll be doing:
- Helping to develop and maintain reports, dashboards and visualisations using Tableau and other reporting tools.
- Writing SQL queries to extract, validate and analyse data, with support from more experienced analysts.
- Supporting stakeholders with reporting requests and helping translate business questions into analytical outputs.
- Performing data quality checks and investigating data issues to ensure reporting accuracy.
- Working closely with Data Analysts, Data Engineers, Business Analysts and wider business teams on reporting and analytical initiatives.
- Contributing to continuous improvements in reporting solutions, dashboards and team processes.
- Building your understanding of business processes, data structures and analytical best practices.
What we're looking for:
- A degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology or a related discipline; or up to 12 months of commercial experience in a Data Analyst, Reporting Analyst, BI Analyst or similar role.
- A basic understanding of SQL and experience writing simple queries.
- Exposure to Tableau, Power BI or another data visualisation tool through work, university projects, placements or personal projects.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and an interest in working with data.
- Good communication skills.
- A willingness to learn new technologies, tools and analytical techniques.
