The Neighbourhood Officer will act as a key interface with tenants, delivering a range of housing support services, helping to build sustainable communities, and ensuring the environments within and around our properties and estates are clean and safe.
Hours: 37 per week
Location: Newry - To cover the wider Newry/Armagh areas.
Salary: £26,409 (SP9) - £29,093 (SP15) per annum
Minimum Requirements:
- Good general level of education to include at least 5 GCSEs or equivalent to include English and Maths (at a minimum of Grade C)
- At least 1 years’ experience (within the last 3 years) of working within a local community environment.
- Minimum 1 years’ experience working to address anti-community behaviour and issues.
- Experience of partnership working with voluntary, community and statutory agencies.
- Relevant recent experience in a housing/social/care/welfare caretaking role.
- Awareness and recent experience of issues impacting on community development and knowledge of Housing Associations and services provided.
- A current full driving licence and access to a suitable form of transport.
