The Financial Inclusion Officer will manage the provision of a high quality, professional in-house welfare advice service which enables service users to change their lives and strengthen communities. The Financial Inclusion Officer will be fully conversant with Welfare Reform and the Universal Credit system and how this impacts on service users.
To be shortlisted candidates need to provide evidence of the following as a minimum:
- Relevant 3rd level qualification plus 1 year experience (in the last 5 years) delivering welfare benefits and money advice OR 3 years experience (in the last 5 years) delivering welfare benefits and money advice.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the social security and welfare system as well as demonstrable understanding of Welfare Reform, Universal Credit and mitigation schemes.
- Demonstrable experience in meeting deadlines and targets whilst managing a complex and varied workload.
- A current full driving licence and access to a suitable form of transport.
