The predicted salary is between 39862 - 45091 £ per year.
To provide commercial and cost management support within the Assets Directorate, supporting planned works, responsive repairs, and servicing/compliance workstreams. The role ensures projects and contracts are delivered efficiently, within budget, and meet quality and compliance standards, while assisting with commercial tenders, cost estimation, and supporting the procurement team to achieve value for money and better buying.

To be shortlisted candidates need to provide evidence of the following as a minimum:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Commercial Management
- Membership or working towards membership of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) preferred.
- Experience in maintenance/project cost management, preferably in social housing.
- Knowledge of maintenance, planned works, responsive repairs, and servicing contracts.
- Strong commercial and contract management skills.
- Ability to prepare estimates, evaluate tenders, and manage financial reporting.
- Experience working with procurement teams to secure value for money.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of RICS standards and NEC/JCT contracts.
- Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills and IT literate with experience of scheduling, reporting, and performance monitoring systems.
- A current full driving licence and access to a suitable form of transport.
