The M&E Technical Officer is responsible for managing, maintaining, and enhancing mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems across the Radius Housing property portfolio. The role ensures statutory compliance, resident safety, and efficient, cost-effective service delivery. The postholder will deliver high-quality customer service to tenants and external clients and provide leadership and guidance across all workstreams within the Assets Directorate. This role supports the Response, Servicing, Compliance, and Planned Works teams and contributes to the development and implementation of Asset Management and investment strategies.
Hours: 37 hours per week
Location: Holywood and elsewhere as needed
Salary: £39,862 (SP29) - £45,091 (SP34) per annum

To be shortlisted candidates need to provide evidence of the following as a minimum:
- HNC/HND or Degree in Building Services, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
- Membership (or working towards) of Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers or equivalent professional body
- Experience in M&E within social housing, public sector, or large property portfolio
- Experience managing contractors and service delivery
- Strong technical understanding of M&E systems
- Knowledge of statutory compliance frameworks
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Project management and organisational skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement
- A current full driving licence and access to a suitable form of transport
