TheFinancial Inclusion Officer will manage the provision of a high quality, professional in-house welfare advice service which enables service users to change their lives and strengthen communities. The Financial Inclusion Officer will be fully conversant with Welfare Reform and the Universal Credit system and how this impacts on service users. Reference: FHA04259 Hours: 37 per week Location: Ballymena / Greater Belfast Salary: £33,366 (SP23) - £37,938 (SP28) per annum The role is fixed term for a period of 12 months. We provide a range of services from sheltered housing for the over 55s and general needs housing for families and single people, as well as specialist care and support facilities for the frail, elderly, people with dementia and learning disabilities and other complex needs. To be shortlisted candidates need to provide evidence of the following as a minimum: 1. Relevant 3rd level qualification plus 1 year experience (in the last 5 years) delivering welfare benefits and money advice OR 3 years experience (in the last 5 years) delivering welfare benefits and money advice. AND 2. Comprehensive knowledge of the social security and welfare system as well as demonstrable understanding of Welfare Reform, Universal Credit and mitigation schemes. 3. Demonstrable experience in meeting deadlines and targets whilst managing a complex and varied workload 4.
