The Maintenance Officer will deliver a professional, technical and customer facing property maintenance service, working flexibly and collaboratively with colleagues and proactively identifying opportunities for service improvement. The Maintenance Officer will have primary responsibility for reviewing completed Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) and coordinating the resulting actions. This includes accurately recording and prioritising recommendations; raising works orders and referrals; monitoring actions to completion within the timescales stated in the FRA; verifying close-out evidence; and escalating overdue, stalled or higher-risk actions. The Maintenance Officer will maintain compliance records, coordinate contractors and internal stakeholders, and support fire safety performance and governance reporting.

Location: Holywood/ Belfast
Salary: £35,570 (SP23) - £40,444 (SP28) per annum
To be shortlisted candidates need to provide evidence of the following as a minimum:
- Level five qualification (e.g., HND) or above in a related discipline such as, Building Surveying, Construction, Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Services and/or Fire Safety with 18 months relevant experience within a construction or maintenance environment. OR Five years relevant experience (within the last 8 years) within a construction or maintenance environment.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the practical application of contract and works-order management relevant to the role.
- Demonstrate knowledge of building standards and statutory regulations, with experience reviewing technical or compliance reports and coordinating remedial actions in a property maintenance environment.
- A current full driving licence and access to a suitable form of transport.
