The Assets Officer will deliver a professional, technical and customer-facing real estates maintenance service, working flexibly and collaboratively with colleagues, proactively identifying areas for service improvement. The Assets Officer will support the delivery of key compliance and asset management workstreams across the organisation. Based within the Compliance team in Assets, the Assets Officer will assist in the coordination and oversight of fire safety compliance programmes. This will include monitoring servicing programmes, instructing and tracking remedial works, coordinating contractors, and supporting the production of compliance reports to ensure statutory obligations are met and risks are effectively managed.
Hours: 37 hours per week
Location: Holywood/ Belfast
Salary: £34,434 (SP23) - £39,152 (SP28)
To be shortlisted candidates need to provide evidence of the following as a minimum:
- Level five qualification (e.g., HND) or above in a related discipline such as, Building Surveying, Construction, Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Services with 18 months relevant experience within a construction or maintenance environment. OR Five years relevant experience (within the last 8 years) within a construction or maintenance environment.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the practical application of contract management relevant to the role.
- Demonstrate an understanding of building standards, construction legislation, statutory regulations and associated documentation in a housing environment.
- A current full driving licence and access to a suitable form of transport.
