Radius is seeking a talented MEP or CSA Intermediate Quantity Surveyor for a Datacentre organisation based in East London You must have some M&E / MEP or CSA experience and want to continue your in career in this area. 2yrs QS experience Degree Educated In the role of Intermediate MEP Quantity Surveyor, you will report directly to a seasoned Senior, providing an excellent opportunity for learning and growth. Requirements Subcontractor Management: Manage the procurement of subcontractors, ensuring that all contractors are compliant, including insurance, health and safety, and contractual agreements. Financial Management: Review, prepare, and submit accurate cost reports, budgets, and forecasts for assigned projects. Regularly update project costs and financial models. Payment Management: Review subcontractor payment applications, ensuring that they are accurate and compliant. Issue payment notices and manage payment schedules through internal COINS system. Contractual Compliance: Ensure that all contractual obligations are met, mitigating risks, and managing disputes in a professional manner. Project Site Management: Conduct regular site walk-throughs to ensure the physical progress of the work is aligned with financial reports. Update mark ups of drawings, confirm completed works, and maintain records of materials delivered and used on-site. Use of COINS: Maintain accurate records of subcontractor liabilities, work progress, and project costs within the COINS system, ensuring visibility for the commercial team. Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and the internal commercial team to ensure smooth communication and resolve any issues efficiently. Experience in the construction or building services sector is preferred, particularly in data centre projects. Strong understanding of subcontractor management, financial reporting, and contractual obligations. Excellent IT skills, with experience using COINS or similar systems. Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills. Attention to detail and an ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
